“What’s happened to me,’ he thought. It was no dream.”
― Franz Kafka, The Metamorphosis

The work displayed here reflects a process the artist underwent while trying to understand their relationship with the changing environment. The artist went back to basics by writing in their native language to convey what is more easily expressed in their art; that of metamorphosis – the process of doing and undoing, learning and unlearning; not fearing the need to start all over again. This work started during the residency in 126 Artist-Run Gallery (2017) and progressed into these artworks.
