Samir Mahmood is a visual artist based in Dublin, Ireland. Drawing on research into migration, citizenship, identity, spirituality, and queer embodiment, he works across digital photo-collage, painting, objects, and video. Recent presentations include Symplegmatic Portals at Rampa, Porto, and Sirius Arts Centre, Cobh, and Guardians over the city, a 2025 commission with Temple Bar Gallery + Studios and Dublin City Council for Culture Night.
